This document provides an account of the Luftwaffe's air raids over Bristol during the Second World War, from both the British and German points of view, and is based on extensive research in both British and German archives.
John Penny is a native of Bristol and Treasurer of the Fishponds Local History Society. He has been studying Bristol in World War II for nearly twenty years. In 1999 John obtained an MA in Regional and Local History from Bath Spa University College.
